Click here to Join Team Gold is one of the largest, and strongest armies in Club Penguin. I know what you're thinking, "Why in the world would Club Penguin need an army?" My question is, why wouldn't they? Armies aren't here to fight off major hackers or threats towards Club Penguin, but we still do for the fun of it. Isn't that the meaning of Club Penguin? Anyways, Team Gold was created by Saint Spice on March 9th, 2009. Our job is to defend our nation and keep our servers a safe place. We're not going to lie and say everything we do is to protect Club Penguin, but it mostly turns out that way. Now it's time for you to decide, either with us or against us. Join us on our quest to become the 1st largest army today. Let the games begin...

  • About Tj Crooks 45

Tj Crooks45Yo I'm Tj, one of the retired leaders of Team Gold. I joined Club Penguin in September of 2007. The first server I ever went on was Walrus (our former capital). For the first year and 3 months or so I wasn't involved in Club Penguin armies. Then, one day I went on Walrus and saw a penguin called "Spice Ice116" and some other penguins saying "SEARCH CLUBPENGUIN TEAM GOLD" so I searched it and went to the chat. When I first joined Team Gold, I hated it. But as I went on the chat more and more I started to like Team Gold. I became very active and eventually became Leader. Oh and I don't know why Spice put that pic there...anyways if you haven't met me then your just inactive :P

Top 10 Armies of the WEEK!

Sup team gold.

i’m back

here are the top 10 armies of the week.

we are now in &th pos bcause of our recent inactiveness!

  1. Nachos (+1): The Nachos have definitely been the focus of all the armies in Club Penguin this week. They’ve been growing quite a bit the last month or two without anyone really realizing it and, after declaring war on the ACP and lighting the fire of an incredibly old rivalry ship, they’ve battled the ACP in a real war for the first time in months and won. They’ve continued to fight with the ACP on multiple servers and, although the score so far is fairly even in terms of wins and losses, the Nachos have been continuing to rise.
  2. ACP (-1): The ACP has been having a pretty tough time lately. To start off with, they’ve had multiple leadership issues in the last couple of weeks, including having 5+ of their owner ranks retire within just a couple of days. To make it worse, their creator, Oagalthorp, came back to try to quickly help out, but really just made things worse. In even bigger news, the Nachos declared war on them and they’ve fought on multiple servers in huge battles. Although they are fairly even in terms of wins and losses, the Nachos have been seeming to do at least somewhat better than the ACP recently. The ACP seems to be falling quite a bit between everything, although they’re still easily a chance that they could be back in the Number 1 Position quite soon.
  3. IW (+0): The IW have also had a fairly busy week, even though they haven’t been a part of the ACP vs Nachos war. Of course, the IW spent quite a while considering if they should join the ACP vs Nachos war, but finally decided not to, due to that it just didn’t seem like the sort of war they could just simply hop into. However, so that they could get more active, they decided to declare war on the Orange Alliance (Tacos, WW, GW, HSA, CPST), which, while a bold move, isn’t exactly too big of a deal for the IW, even though at least three of those armies (GW, HSA and CPST) are near the top of their game. This would be a huge event for everyone, but it doesn’t seem quite as big with the huge ACP vs Nachos war going on at the same time.
  4. GW (+4): The GW really took quite a leap recently. After being declared “inactive” by quite a few people (including CPA Central), they had a PB with the IMAF that proved quite differently. They had about 15+ people online, which is a pretty big amount, and since then have been doing pretty well. The IW declared war on the OA (which they are probably the largest part of), which seemed like quite a shock to the GW. There’s a good chance they’ll be able to defeat the IW in some upcoming battles and, whoever wins or loses, the GW will definitely be one of the largest parts of the OA.
  5. IMAF (+2): There’s a good chance the IMAF won’t be able to keep their new high position for too long, but if they do, it’ll definitely just show how much they’ve suddenly risen in the last couple of weeks. A month ago, they were known as an army that stayed near the back of the Top 10 Armies list and didn’t really rise (or fall), however in the last Top 10 Armies, they rose a couple of positions and recently just took another huge leap. As I said, there’s a good chance they’ll go down a rank or two soon, however for now they’ve gone up to a very high position, mostly due to that they had a PB with the GW and (while they did admit defeat), they had quite a good turnout at it. For now at least, the IMAF have risen to the highest they’ve been for a long time.
  6. HSA (-2): The HSA came up as a huge new army, however it seems as if their Golden Ages have finally died down. Although they are still a formidable army, they just don’t have quite the huge size that we saw throughout their creation all the way to the end of 2009. They’ve been pretty much averagely active recently. They had a pretty good recruiting session with a nice turnout and recently had a training session with a fairly good turnout, but not what they used to be (although they’re still definitely a very good sized army).
  7. TG (-2): Team Gold had a huge bang of a turnout at a battle a bit ago, ranking them quite high on the Top 10 Armies of the Week, and they’re definitely still up on them, although not quite as large as they were before. They weren’t very active at all recently, although they did have a PB with the CPST with quite a good turnout. There’s a good chance they could fall (at least somewhat) soon unless they step it up.
  8. CPST (+3): The Club Penguin Sun Troopers haven’t been on the Top 10 Armies for quite a while now, however they definitely deserve it. Similar to the HSA, they rose very quickly around the same time, however unlike them, they fell a bit later. They do seem to be back now with a fairly large force behind them. They had a PB with the TG and had a very good turnout at it. They seem to be a really active army and from this point on they could easily fall back off the Top 10 Armies or, if they really work, they could rise up and become a very large army. They definitely have the potential to do so.
  9. Snow Troops (+2): The Snow Troops are a very new army, that were created under the name Bacon Flavored Fritos. They’ve definitely been rising, mostly due to that they have quite a good group of Leaders, that have been working very hard to get them on the rise (including a lot of advertising). What brought them onto the Top 10 Armies list, is one of their recent recruiting sessions they had with a really good turnout. This is an army never before seen on the Top 10 Armies list, and from here that could pretty easily just fall and just disappear like quite a few other armies like them, or they could rise. They definitely have the leaders to do so.
  10. Tacos (-4): On the last Top 10 Armies of the Week, they Tacos got a major rank boost, due to that they became incredibly active and had a lot of events with huge turnouts. However, they recently just haven’t had anything going on. This is definitely an army that CAN become really large, but they need to have the activeness to do so. They easily have the troops to rise up the list on the next Top 10 Armies, but we’ll have to see if they can use them.
