Lately we’ve been doing a lot of changes and such to the site and the beta site. This post isn’t going to be very long, not will most of my post after this one either: I’m just giving you re-directive hints. From now on, please do not stretch things to far. Instead of saying “If you stay in TG for 3 weeks, go to 19 battles, get on chat for 4 hours a day, and kiss up to the leaders, you will earn a high rank.” Instead, say something more simple, like “If you stay active and come to battles, you will eventually rank up to leader.” I honestly don’t think people want to read a paragraph of what can be explained in a sentence. Also, please only post things on our blog if they have 300 words or more. This is Team Gold not Twitter.
Next, we only have the one army rule to improve ourselves as an army. For about the first 4 months in TG, we had nobody from other armies, nobody with xats, and not much complainers. The people didn’t complain that much because there wasn’t much to complain about back then. Everybody seemed friendly. Whenever people we’re on chat, it seemed as if 9/10 times they were actively chatting and welcoming people. People liked to recruit. We didn’t have to worry about hackers, they were banned on spot. Chat wasn’t members only, but people from other armies were automatically banned if they came and tried to steal our troops.
When there are people on chat who are in multiple armies, people started to get a lot more frustrated, a lot more power hungry, and a lot more lazy. People no longer kicked or banned people who abused rules because they were always at events for other armies. Phishers and scammers started to freely roam around the chat, because they had connections with higher ranks who were in multiple armies. Army leaders would freely take our troops because the people who were in both armies knew about their desperate situation of size at events and in general. People don’t welcome other people anymore because they’re too busy bickering about how our rules in this army should be like the ones in their other army. It seems as if once we let outsiders in, our Eden became their prison. People who are in multiple armies just jump around to where ever they want when it’s time for events. Fore-say, we’re recruiting and a member of multiple armies doesn’t like recruiting. They go to the other army to sit around and chat until our event is over because they don’t want to work. Then once the secondary army has an event, they come back to the first.
We don’t want to be the army that everybody hangs out in just to talk or listen to music. We’re trying to reach a goal. Being in multiple armies is like having multiple families. Once you get tired of one or get mad at one, you leave it for the other one. Sadly, you end up neglecting both in the process. Being the back up is not an option in TG. It’s either you’re with us or you’re not. There’s no way in-between it or around it. Case closed.
